I have drawn your attention to Gunosy back in 1/22 with a tag line of “It’s a BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later) stock, not just the 2nd best SmartNews”. Gunosy is a provider of news curation service, but has gained the exposure to the BNPL industry exposure through its $20 MM investment in India’s fast growing BNPL provider, Slice. Slice has become a Unicorn in 11/21, and Gunosy now owns 10-15% of Slice.

Gunosy shares have come down since then along with the markets, but has caught investors’ attention and the stock went up 16% last week.

What happened?

The stock positively reacted to the announcement that Japan would invest $42 Bn to aid in infrastructure expansion in India during Prime Minister Kishida’s visit to India on 3/19/22. The benefit of this commitment to Slice is INDIRECT at best.

Nonetheless, I would like to be “lucky” than being “right”. This is why I thought I would like to redraw you attention to Gunosy!
